The designers a such great wonderful ideas. I wish I could see some of the Kitchen, House, and Bath Crashers show their great work in a condo setting. That would be so great. I hope in the near future you start a Condo crashers for those whom don't have houses. Keep up the good and great work you are doing.

there's nothing done in a house you can't do in a condo... provided The Association (hiss, boo) allows it. all the building materials and supplies are the same, as generally are the codes in the new units (high-rise and converted commercial buildings do have different base construction methods and codes for higher residency buildings are stricter, as more lives could be lost in a failure, but the finishing construction is the same.)
all these shows are demonstrations of procedure and materials. just like home improvement magazines, take all the ideas you want, put them in a shaker, mix 'em up as you want, and then check for best practices and run it by the inspectors when you pull your permits.
frankly, anything beyond a paint job requires a permit, especially in multi-family housing. and again, The Association's requirements for maintaining building integrity and presentation have to be followed. your foulup will affect others. This message has been edited. Last edited by: swschrad,
