Not sure if this question is appropriate for the "outdoor projects" forum, but I'm giving you guys a shot at answering...We recently moved into a house in a rural area. Some nocturnal animal(s) have been attacking our grill, and pushing it with such force that it's damaged our aluminum siding. Any suggestions for not only protecting the grill and the house, but for ridding of the animal? Thanks!

You live in rural america, you will have to put up with wild life. The only reason I can see them "attacking" your grill is that it smells like last nights steak. I would secure it so that it is less movable, and perhaps run the heat for a while after you remove the last peice of meat, so that the residual chunks burn off. Possibly attaching air fresheners to throw off the scent as well. Others may have additional ideas.

You won't know if you can do something if you don't try.

oh, there's something you can do. Big Slavering Noisy Toothy Dogs.

other than that, it's good food hygiene (scrape the grille and clean the burner cavity each time,) or critters.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

Thanks for the ideas!
We'll be taking the grates off the grill and storing them inside from now on.
You know, we had a lot of wind gusts last night. I'm beginning to wonder if it is what threw the grill at the house. It's hard to imagine an animal being big enough or strong enough to do the amount of damage. Wind on the other hand, can be deceivingly powerful.

Just to give you an update...revised opinion is that damage was done by a deer, who got spooked while snooping around. The damage done is shocking! Life in the country isn't always quiet, nor pain free. I'm up to my elbows and beyond in a poison ivy reaction!
