I live in a home that has a walkout basement. There is a slope down to the back yard at the head of my driveway and I'd like to install steps on the slope. I'm looking for advice on the best materials to use that will look nice , last a while and not cost very much. I am not at all a handyman but will try most things if given pretty good instructions. Perhaps a good YouTube video would be helpful if recommended. I looked a while for one but couldn't find anything that was helpful enough with the details.
Thanks for any help!

Unless it's a steep pitch (about the same pitch as a set of stairs) you may be better off with a series of landscape steps. Risers can be PT timbers or stone with stone backfill.
Maybe these will help. Just a few as I Googled "outdoor landscape stairs".
