I have 4 Milgard Bay windows that were mis-measured. They are brand new, never installed. Great windows, but the sizing is off. Does anyone know any legitimate web-sites or other places to sell windows like these? I've had no luck on Craigslist. Thanks!

As a builder, I frequently have new or like-new materials available to sell. Frankly, in 20 years I've never found a good way short of just giving them away. The market for used or not first run building materials is not good - anybody looking to buy is also looking for a cheap or free price to pay. For the few pieces that I have been able to sell over the years I've only been able to get a 1% to 2% return on the original investment.

Sadly, your best bet will be to stick with the Craigslist type listings and hope that you find someone who needs this window size and type.

OTOH, you can donate the windows to Habitat for Humanity or the like and take a deduction on the full value.

Thanks Jaybee. That's what I was afraid of. I haven't tried e-Bay, have any opinion on e-Bay as a viable place to resell?

check with your local habitat for humanity, i know in my area they have a resale yard where they take donations and turn around and sell them to the public, they usually give you a form that you can turn in for a tax deduction with a fairly high value for merchandise that is donated.

Pity you are not in the Houston/Galveston area...depending on cost of shipping it may be worth posting on the Houston craigslist under the materials section.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. I just learned of a site called "BuildingSurplus.com" Anyone have any experience with it?
