I have decided not to use IPE for my front porch and go with Outback Decking T&G, since my porch is covered. It is a very old house and we want the narrow boards so it will look like the exsisting T&G flooring. Has anyone worked with the Outback Decking product?

Outback has a very nice looking website. If what they say about their decking is true it is a premium deck material. Naturally rot resistant tropical wood is really durable. I've used Apitong which is usually a durable truck flooring with impressive results. Ask the supplier for referrals to folks who've bought and installed or used this product.

just make sure you put a stain/sealer on it that has a UV protectent so it will keep its beautiful color. Since its covered you'll want to protect it from sun fade in certain areas. Go for the best since you're selecting a quality wood like ipe. Be sure you test fire a few shots with a nailer before installing as it is an extremely hard wood, may even want to pre-drill and install stainless steel trim head screws instead of nailing

According to the Outback website the product is coated at the factory with a high grade UV resistant finish.

With this stuff I'd try to use a concealed fastener system.
