We have a lot of brick accents inlayed in our concrete driveway and walkway entrance to our house that I'd like to replace with something a bit more modern or up-to-date. We also have some brick on the support posts to our patio cover. We're wanting to replace the post siding bricks with stacked-stone, and want to compliment this with something similar in the driveway/walkway. Any suggestions for materials that would look similar to stacked-stone but obviously flat-smooth surface for driveway/walkways?
WallyYoung I think the cultured stone(faux stone) dry stack would be what you are looking for your the post. Not real sure about it on the flat surface where there may be vehicular travel.
Here is a site of various cultured stone manufacturers. They have different style stones and websites that you could inquire of the flat stone that would be weight bearing.
