Good-evening,i was wanted to know, i put sand and chicken wire down and i want to know if that's ok to do that before i start my concrete or do i need to put something eles on there? Thanks You | |||

Not exactly sure what you are doing but if it is like a concrete countertop it will never work with sand. | ||||

Maybe you should explain exactly what you are doing and with what type of table. For a concrete top be it counter or concrete slab a form needs to be made, a release agent and re-enforcement. If you have a form and you have filled it with sand and wire then your finished product will be the top and the bottom will be rough. The re-enforcement can not protrude to the form edge and will have to be held back from the edge. The form needs to be vibrated to remove any air trapped within the concrete. The edged need raked along the form to push back any gravel or medium. A picture would be nice. Worth a thousand words as they say. | ||||
