flagstone, pavers or concrete for patio???? Sign In/Join
        posted
We recently spent money and had someone put in a flagstone patio for us. One year later it is chipping, the 'grout' is not secure, the stones he used are falling, in other words it is a mess!! I have started to rip everything out. What do you use to secure flagstone or pavers so they stay in place and you can walk securly on them. I am desperate plus I have used most of the money alloted to this project. HELP!

You wrote "someone"...was this a contractor? Friend? And what kind of a base, if any, did this person put in?

Yes the contractor. He used sand and then put the mixture of some bonding solution.
