you'll need a leval;tape measure, hammer or screw gun
[drill with screw debth gauge attachment]
and a skill saw, chalk line, and a straight edge i like to use gal, 1 1/4 screws
others like to use gal, 1 1/2 ring shank nails
[depending on what ur nailing into]
start at the bottom, and work ur way up
making sure the starter is perfectly leval
        stagger the joints
put the cut peice on one end of the wall
on the next course, start out with the cut peice
all joints will be staggered that way
        others my have different techniques

Frodo, how are you going to stagger panels?

Make sure you get at least one extra panel, most often that stuff is so fragile at least one gets broke before you can get it home.
I'd strongly suggest you go on the James Hardee web site for full install directions!
Are you planing to just install this over the studs?
If so you do know with no support behind it just how breakable that stuff is right?
One rock, baseball, something tipping over inside, it's trash.
