Need to keep chain link fence gate closed to keep adult autistic son in the yard but would like some ideas that would allow dog to come in and out on his own(live out of city). In kitchen, put gate up 10" from floor so dog could access his food and water, but son is still locked out until we open the gate. Does anyone have an idea that would be practical but not tacky?
Just to clarify, you're looking for both indoor and outdoor fences, as well as a door cut opening for the dog? How large is the dog?
depending on the size of dawg..and son ..doggy door
can be installed in a chain link fence
we had a doggy door for a cocker spanual, when i was preteen, i used to crawl thru it...
They make pet doors that have a magnetic lock - the dog has a collar on that will unlock the lock when it gets close enough. Should be enough to let the dog in and out and keep the kid from opening the pet door.
