Finishing previous owners Bay Window
I have 3 different projects that I need to address and need some suggestions/ideas.

1. The bay window needs to be finished on the bottom. The footer board is exposed. The height of the exposed wall is 4".

I do have plenty of leftover yellow vinyl siding that I can use if needed. Thanks for any and all comments.

Is there any info on the window that you can find? Your Looking for a brand name.
If you can find the brand the install directions can be found on there web site.
There's at least three differant ways the bottom of that window can be finished out.
As far as that thing sticks out I'd go with the one supports it from below not just cover it up to help stop it from sagging.

boy, that was a quick hack the previous owners did. see the nailing flanges on the bottom of the window? those are supposed to go into sturdy structure to hold up the window. then all that void has to be insulated, sheathed, weather proofed. sided.

would be interesting to see the top and see if they flashed it out to keep rain away.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
