Dog House Camper
I just watched the video on the Dog House Camper and had a couple questions. Confused

1. Windows - Good for ventilation but what to do during inclement weather to prevent rain/snow from entering?
2. It was said floor slides out for easy cleaning, but it didn't show how?
3. What needs to be done to make it Road Safe for towing behind our motor home?

Thank you,

I watched it and since the dogs are inside dogs, I doubt they'll be out using it in bad weather. As to making it road worthy, it would require a lot of modifications including leaf springs and road worthy wheels and tires. The wheels on that are OK for a garden cart but not for long miles on the open road.

I think you'd be better off getting one of these http://www.etrailer.com/Hitch-...msg7MCFQfonAoduFQAhg and carrying it rather than trying to make that design road worthy.

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

Already have that on the MH filled with cargo. Space is limited. Thought it was a cute idea and a great shelter in bad weather, guess I will just use a tent for them.

All righty then....
Harbor Freight has a trailer you can start with, they range from $200 to $400. Like this one..

If you are interested in making the tear drop style trailer, plans can be found on the net or I can find some in the plans I have. You will have to compensate for the size difference.
