what should i put up for a roof on my porch...i put up a beadboard paneling...it came down...even tho the ceiling is not directly in rain or snow, there was a lot of moisture...any suggestions on what to use
Generally vinyle is used where there is a moisture problem. The has to be something wrong that beadboard did not stay. They would put it on farm house porches and it would last for several decades. But that was not sheet goods but individual T&G boards. This message has been edited. Last edited by: redoverfarm,
If it were me, I'd leave it off for a while. If the bead-board panels are getting so wet that they're coming down, I'd be looking for a leak.
Can you tell if the moisture is coming from the front (good) side or from the back? Is there streaking?
