        How much would it cost to build a simple carport

        Hi everybody,

        I want to build a simple carport, something similar to this http://www.howtospecialist.com...d-a-lean-to-carport/ , as me and my husband don't have a lot of experience in the construction field. I would like to ask you how much it would cost the materials, if you have built something like this recently.

        I believe the structure depicted is 10'X 20'. The list of materials is listed in the site. Just take that to the building yard and they can advise you of that cost. You need to check with local codes to see if this meets what they require.

        Impossible to come up with a price to build something on line.
        And no a "ballpark" figure will do you 0 good.
        Make some local calls if you can not build this your self and you will then know the real price, not some price people that have no clue what your local labor rates, codes, soil conditions are.
