I'm putting a hottub under a second floor deck. what's the best way to catch rain from the deck above to keep it from dripping down to the HT.
I recall several products but when do a search here "under decking" comes up blank. Thus I must be having a senior moment as well.....

google "under deck." Decking usually refers to lumber under roof shingles.

Why did DYI select "UNDERDECK" for Show DTTR-609? I am planning a deck draindage project and found two manufactorers: this one and DEKDrain (from hurricane country).

Does anyone have experience with snow-melt. It seems that the system DYI chose, would ice-up with frequent thaw and freezing conditions.

Appreciate any advice you can give on keeping water from flowing through an above ground deck.
