My toilet doesn't have enough water in the bowl. I have tried turning the water flow valve in both directions. I have tried adjusting the float thing. Sometimes, if I hold the flusher down for a while the bowl will fill but it doesn't seem clean when it does. Not to mention, who has time for that every time they go? Any ideas would be appreciated.
Sorry to hear you have problems with the toilet. Do you know the maker of this toilet? Check the toilet completely for a stamp or insignia of some type one will be there. If you can't find the maker of the toilet, take a picture of it and post it in another post for help. Someone here may recognize the model.
Do you own or rent your home? Fixing the problem may be best solved by replacing the whole toilet as some models of low water use toilets have too many problems and its easier to simply buy another one to overcome the problem. If you rent than the problem is the landlords and you need to contact him.
replace the valve assembly, inside the tank you can pick one up at the hardware store its muie easy to do. just follow directions ask one the guys at the store they will point you to the valves
