Have a need to clean the doors. How do i remove the doors?

Why is it that you need to remove the doors to clean the glass?
The glass can be cleaned in place, using disposable news print, dampened with vinegar and dipped in some wood ashes from the fireplace. It scrubs the creosote right off, and you just toss the paper.

It has glued on paper (new) and not much room to get to the inside of the glass. Need to scrape.

it either slid in a track or had a spring on one of the pegs

Thanks... Finally figured it out. Had to open door, push in on fireplace cover at bottom of door(not a peg there), and pull out on the bottom of the door, plus bump the top of the door down with my hand.
