Just a quick two-part question for my first time tileing a shower - how long should the grout set before putting a sealer on it, and can the same sealer be used on the glass block grout as the tile grout? Can't seem to find any specifically for glass block grout. Is there really a difference between the pittsburgh corning glass block grout, and regular tile grout?

If both grouts are Portland cement based then they are the same and the sealer will basically work the same for both. Select a sealer brand and read and follow the instructions for that brand. Installation times and recommendations can vary between makers.
