our central a/c is on the main floor(in the middle of the house floor layout), with the condensate drain draining into the dirt-floored crawlspace. it is now leaking at the connection at the a/c. if i install a condensate pump where should the drain line go?

Anywhere you want it to! That's the beauty of using a condensate pump - as it pumps out via a flexible 1/2" line and since it's pumping under pressure it doesn't have to run downhill, it can be routed anywhere.

Typically, you will run it outside to an area that will then naturally drain away from the house. You can also run it out and tie into any existing downspout drain to get it further away from the house.
