How do I ask DIY to add a Green Message Board for discussion about home energy interests such as alternative technologies, conservation and reducing energy use in general? There don't seem to be many postings related to those interests but if the opportunity to share experiences and ask questions were available there might be a number of people who would benefit. My interests are in saving money and reducing dependency on fossil fuels. Until I can afford a PV installation I'm doing what I can to reduce energy use and upgrade the insulation in my house. Would DIY consider a Green Message Board, considering that green building industry is so popular now?
i tried to go green on my house, to expensive maybe in a few years. i looked into a wind turbine for elec. and backfeeding to the power company. 10 k there is no way that i will real;ise a profeit for 10-14 years and i would need to cut all my tember to go solar. no thank you.i like my trees i would like to mist the roof,interesting concept...
