Air Conditioner Temperature Problem
The light of the digital panel of my air conditioner is just blinking at me. Thermostats panel showing irregular changes in the pattern of temperature (Suddenly it’s high and in few seconds it’s down enough to the freezing temperature.)Let me help to solve this problem. Note: Fan and compressor is working quiet well and blowing the cold air.

I don't see that condition in the owners manual.

But here is a link to it, you might want to look it over.

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

panel probably took a hit and is wacky. one thing you can do is power it down, take off the covers, and remove and reinsert the connectors a couple times. that would fix an oxidized set of contacts... for now. if that works, take it down again, put a little silicone grease on each contact, and reconnect.

otherwise, you are in for a new control panel.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?

Here is a decent source of parts if you want to do the repairs yourself.

Also, try going to www.handymanwire.com and posting your question in the appliance section. With specific model information. Jeff over there is very helpful.
