Okay, I need some help on sound proofing my kitchen. We recently bought a commercial refrigerator and freezer. We are really happy with the amount of storage and efficiency of both, however, the frig is really loud. I mean really loud! We had to do some demo already and have rebuilt the wall, so we really don't want to rebuild the wall again. I need to know if there is a decent product I can put directly on the wall behind and above the frig and freezer to cut the sound. I don't expect perfection, the kitchen is open to the dining room and living room, but I wonder if we can at least make the noise level lower.

There have been a few similar questions over the past months but I was only able to locate one post that might help you.

It's titled Impossible Soundproofing, in the Home Improvement Section, at

        http://boards.diynetwork.com/e...1916776/m/8993900077.

        Hope this helps.
