Hello, I am putting down a new floor in my sunroom, currently it is indoor/out carpet over top of concrete. The floor gets very cold in the winter. Other then putting heat under new flooring (Pergo Lam) any other suggestions?

If you are able to raise the floor, how about putting in a subfloor with 2x4's and 5/8 plywood. In between the 2x4's, insert foam board insulation.

if you don't mind stepping up half an inch, heat under the floor ain't bad. there are mat and individual insulated wire methods of in-floor heat that you stick down, cover with thinset, and hook to the 120 volt line that work well. sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
