Spamming Lowe's coupons
I answered one of our little spammer buddy Andrew's posts about selling Lowe's coupons but then noticed that he's been a busy little spammer and has hit most of the topics here on the DIY board.

So just to clarify: He's trying to sell coupons that anyone can go on-line and get for free. Plain and simple. Just Google "Lowe's coupon" and you'll now have all the information that he has.

Persistent little bugger.

General Disclaimer

Any advice given here is general in nature and is not necessarily valid for your given area. If in doubt check with your local codes enforcement department for what is required when doing electrical, plumbing or structural work on your house. Permits may or may not be required in your area and home owners may not be able to DIY some tasks. I have no way of knowing if you have the skills needed to complete the tasks you are asking about, when in doubt seek professional assistance.

My advice may be worth exactly what you pay me for it. :-) For the record I did not stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

He hasn't discovered the other site yet.

Apparently Andrew123 "got the message". He's now deleted 20 of the initial 22 posts and left only two posts but deleted the solicitation to sell Lowe's coupons.

Fortunately, I copied his message and am reposting separately for the benefit of the companies I contacted to report him, so they can see what he in fact did post 22 times.

And for the record, Lowes is referring the issue to its fraud department for investigation. The representative with whom I spoke also stated that folks can get e-mail coupons when moving, and don't have to buy them.

Also, the rep was unaware of coupons on merchandise up to $10k, but said in his knowledge the upset limit was $5k. This raises in my mind the issue of whether Andrew altered the coupons.

Good job, guys!

Update: Microsoft e-mailed me to notify me that they had "taken appropriate action" of Andrew's HotMail account.

Isn't it great when someone acts on a complaint?
