So, I have been building my moulds and preparing everything. I have 3 sections in my kitchen, 2 of which are HUGE. They are cast in place. I see a lot of people using an orbital wet sander to finish the tops. I have to do this inside my home, unfortunately I can't do it outside. Can I sand the tops dry, using a sander with a filter on it to minimize dust? Just trying to find the cleanest way to do this....

        Thanks in advance!

Good call, I should just cover everything and wet sand... I don't plan on doing an aggressive sand so it shouldn't be too bad. Going for a tiny bit rustic, not a glassy finish.

you should have rubbed it after it dried, while it was still green....its easier that way
could have gotten a glass like finish on it

Anyone know of brands for cement sealers that are food safe? I only saw one at Home Depot and it wasn't food safe....
