I am looking to buy a new toilet for a bath remodel. The criteria for the toilet are

1. non splashing flush
2. excellent bowl cleaning
3. less water use is better
4. "leak proof" as much as possible.

I was looking at the new class 6 Kohler...

Anyone have other suggestions.

I currently have 1 bemis, 1 eljer, and 1 american standard?...they all seem to have violent flushes...strong enough to send particulate matter OUT of the toilet...nice...

Thanks for any help

Kohler here too.
I have replaced several old stools with Kohlers in our home and DM's, and recommended them to neighbors and friends. First choices for me are the Comfort height (just a bit taller bowl), Elongated bowl if you have enough knee room (more real estate for the guys to hit), and of course the 1.6 gal flush models. They flush quickly and completely. The porcelain is nice and smooth, so it tends to stay cleaner, the trap is smooth, wide and large, so there is hardly ever a flush problem.

Personally I am only familiar with the Kohler Wellworth models. Both the round and elongated bowls. The last one I purchased was probably around 130 dollars or so? And as I mentioned the comfort height ones are often easier for the average person, especially the elderly.
