I have manufactured home (trailer, doublewide and not from the 70's) I love watching the programs and would love to do some of the projects showed. But, I run into issues with products that will not work in my home. (e.i doors and walls are thinner and off size) The local Home depot and Lowes do not carry items for trailers. Can anyone recommend a site or store(besides buying "real house" according to some) for products and instruction. Thank you for help.

you can buy door slabs and build your own frames to fit the thinner walls. you can go to the order desk for windows and tell them you have a prebuilt home, wall thickness is X, and you need to look at custom windows.

you may suffer lower R values, but you don't have to stay with old aluminum Jalousie windows, either.
