I need to get back to my table and work on some pages. I have been knitting scraves and hats for cancer patients and have about 20 sets done. So I think that should be enough for now. I'm gonna get back to my card making also.

Glad to see you posting again. I've been taking care of a recovering hubby. It's been three weeks since his back surgery, and he's doing well. But he has a way to go. I haven't scrapped in a long time. Seems so many other things get in the way. I think Ive forgotten how to.

Happy to be in God's service.

Well, I've not said anything, but I was back in the hospital again, blood clots in my leg. I'm home but have to stay off the leg until the swelling goes down, and I'm glad to hear hubby is getting better.

That is wonderfull Scrapper39, The wisdom and knowledege she can share with the younger generation.

I have mostly been working on Thank You cards for my daughter. Today I have been working on Tear Teddy from Treasurebox Designs. I am also making some outfits for them. I am making 2 as my girlfriend in Fl has a daughter with 2 little ones in Romania doing missionary work. I thought I would make them something they could play with on a rainy day.

Other than that I have been sick but am feeling much better...that is the reason for not being on here much. Oh, last week I spent the week with Clarinda and enjoying her pool with 2 grands and our mother.

Wow, sounds like everyone has had some sickness to deal with. I don't know what was wrong with me but I was horribly sick for 4 weeks and then God healed me. I had all kinds of test done and they couldn't find out what was going on with me. GRRRR, I hate paying for test and nothing shows up BUT on the other hand I would rather nothing show up.... Wink

I thought it would be just like when I had my children but lord all mighty I never knew I could love a little body so much. I want to start Channing's sb but I don't have alot of baby stuff. Need to make a JoAnn's run soon. I need a good website to go to that shows thier member's work all on one page. I am sorry I loose words & can't get them to come to mind. I am sure you know what I am taking about, any idea's for a site. And the word I am looking for??? That's why I don't get on much because it is getting embarassing.

Martha, grandkids come befor anything. Since school is out My granddaughter has been here just about everyday, she has a suitcase here and all of her make-up, so we concider her living here. She can drive now, so she takes me when I need to go to town. My grandson is here now playing some game on the PC. So a lot of my scrapping is on the back burner for now.

And I'm glad to hear hubby is better, blood clots are not fun.

I m glad everyone seems on the mend. My daughter has had pneumonia and has been with me for a week. She s better but still has a cough. I ve done a few pages while she s been here of my little granddaughter. I ve found some pix of my mother when she was yound so I have some copying to do. I actually have her 2 marriage certificates to put in her book but no pix, thought I would use black silouettes of a bride and groom with those. I m going to another crop at Micheals next saturday so I ll work on her albums.

Geee, many are sick, and as many braved giving comfort to the sick, that sort of evens out that "hospitalization" news. Such times (or shortness thereof) sometimes brings out the best in us. Smile

Thanks everyone for reminding me that everyone goes through hectic schedules that we "forget" how to do things we love. Still, scraping can be done in the slowly but surely method--how about a little "welcome home" handmade card for those getting well?
