ViannaHalloween treat for Mia
She didn't get a new costume this year, but we took her to Dairy Queen in her old one - and she was very happy to have a little of her favorite sweet: a Blizzard. People know her there as we bring her along every time.
This is 4x6 scrapped for my Daily Life book.

crafdragonWhat a beautiful pup!! I love any dogs but have never had any who would allow me to dress them up in any way. I tried many times and gave treats and tried hard but maybe it only works for an only dog? I did have a smaller terrier mix who would wear a coat when she was cold, but she was an only pup. Now we have several dogs and the man lets them get too crazy and they tear collars off of each other so forget a costume or clothes. I do not allow that behavior, but I am grumpy too, so I am told

CrafDragon: We've had Mia since she was 3 months old and started her on wearing clothes right away - I know that it makes a difference for sure on how the dog relates to the process. But she wont wear headgear - which I hear is just like babies: some like a hat and some dont tolerate it. Before Mia, we had 2 Lhasa Apsos - they were fine with costumes too, but only for an hour or so ( except when very cold outside). Again, we started them young.
And yes,
Clarinda, we also have to take the pictures rather quickly. I use the SPORTS setting on my digital Cannon Rebel and it allows me to shoot multiple pics quickly - we usually we get one or two in 50 shots that is worth while.
I'm going to post pics of this year's Christmas outfit for sure.
If you're on Facebook, join me there - it's where I post pictures/layouts more frequently

SandyLee: If you mean you want a dog of this breed, she is Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Tri-Color variety; if you mean you want a dog that BEHAVES like Mia, that my dear, is sheer luck, and maybe just a little bit of patient training early in puppyhood. I will be posting some new fun pics of her in another post.
Keep scrapping & telling your stories ♥
