Ok this is Fabulous Friday... Our challenge today is Flower Day. That's right make something with a flower!

I made a lo for this and it is very simple but the flowers give it a little pop! The first picture is like a title and wasn't sure of what embellishments to use and the place was a "garden" and zoo combined so if you see lots of zoo pictures from me I'm trying to get these finished...lol.

Here's a card I made! Stacked the flowers and used a brad for the center.

Donna... I was just thinking this morning about adding a tearing technique for this weekend. When I first did it I wasn't sure...but I do like how it adds dimension for NO money! lol

I found that I love adding brown ink to edges...try it you'll like it! lol

Here's what I did maybe some one else will have a different way they do it. I cut a strip wider than I needed and tore off some of the straight edge. Than picked an ink that went with the papers and inked the edges...I layered it like this to cover up where the bottom paper joined the card. I also added the brad before adhering to the triple mats. If I poke a brad through the card and than spread the legs...I will take a matching paper and line the inside of the card.

Oh I love your work. Your layouts are so nice. I tried scanning and sending a copy of my rose card but I couldn't get it to go. I managed to get it to my desk top but from there it wouldn't come up when I went to add attachment. Oh, well the story of my life. I think I need to go back to school to learn how to do all these things on the computer. LOL

Another great challenge. I will do this one asap! Wink

You can take the belle out of the south, but you can't take the south out of the belle!

I live life, I laugh often, I love to scrapbook!
