Here is another beauty by Gabi. She told me today she didn't want to go home because she was having to much fun....she has been here for 3 night. This has been fun and she has learned to love the heat embossing. You will be by the middle of this card she made for her mom! This is the inside of her card. I think she will have to go home today and give it to her mommy. I need to get some house work done. I love her so much but I might not be married long if this keeps up...LOL JK. This was a very easy card...Gabi picked out the paper and then we got out the emblessments and she went to town picking out what she wanted to put on it. Then she said she wanted to do the hot emboss on the inside. We got the stamps out and in no time we were having more fun and were done! Now to go suprise her mom...Gabi will be the first suprised that she is going home... So sweet. One of my twins is in love with my punches. He's a little rough with them, so I've put the more expensive ones away and get them out when I can supervise. Getting to spend time with the grandkids is the best time spent! Marsha Happy to be in God's service.

Very pretty and colorful! Hope she wasn't too disappointed to have to go home, but I'll bet her Mom was happy to get the card and her daughter back too! May God Bless You Abundantly! Kathie

... Definitely, get the "next generation" interested and involved in documenting life. Pass the torch! Teach them to take pictures and to keep a journal (it's good for them on sooo many levels!). I'm sure mommy loved the card. So precious! Vianna

Yes, Yes, Yes, her mommy LOVED the card. Her mother is very good that way and the kids know if they do something for her she will be thrilled to death. I agree that the next generation should be into journaling with words and pictures. I have pictures as far back as my great grandmother holding my grandmother as a baby. I also know of pictures of my great, great grandparents on my mothers side in the family. I can't get my hands on them for copies because my aunt made a promise to grandma as she was dying that no one was to get any copies because grandma didn't want her sisters kids getting any copies....Oh BROTHER!!!! I would so love to get copies of them. (Bigh Shurg) Oh, well! This message has been edited. U have a talented gd, I have a grandson comeing. When he is old enough how should I introduce this 2 a little boy who every1 want's out in the yard digging w/is John Deere toys or play hunting w/little bows & arrows? Also, my dd started journaling when she was in Jr High, she doesn't do it anymore w/new boyfriend (ugh) he is nosey & she cannot have any private thoughts w/him around. My question is how can I mix her journals that are all in spiral notebooks w/out really opening & reading. This is feelings & emotions she was having when she had her first boyfriend, during the time we had the wreck, & the stress she went through after. She has not written in a while, I am going to encourage her to start again w/ baby coming on Mon. I wish I had thought of it when she was pregnant. But like I said somehow I want to incorporate it in w/ her journals. I thought about just saving a spot in the back of the journal & putting the whole book in the back. She will be getting her journals & pictures when she get's married anyway. Walk by Faith Not by Sight
