Just sharing a couple of layouts (if they can be called such) that I did recently. They go into my scrapbook/journal/diary "thingy", where I also do the lengthy journaling. I'm very much into this simple scrapbooking style now bec I can post daily into my book this way. In my case, the scrapbooking is only for my own recordkeeping, my lite creative expression and a lot of soul exploration during the more difficult moments.

First up: I created this to go with the story of my husband building a new shed for the house. (I have a few more layouts below.)

This is my 95 yo mother; we generally celebrate my birthday and mother's day at the same time as they're only days apart - hence the cake.

Here I am napping with my beautiful Mia (taken by my husband. She likes to curl in the crook of my neck and put her head on my shoulder - it's very endearing and comforting for both of us.

Is there a special site you use to digital scrap, do you have to buy a membership for one of these sites? I know alot of people are using these kind of sites now. I thought I would check into it for Channing's sb. Then maybe I would not have to spend so much time trying to keep stocked up on all my supplies. I still think I am going to like the hands on better but if I could start with the digital then finish with my embellishments.

Marie, I am not sure I understand what you are asking. I used Photoshop to create my 4x6 layouts. As for products, there are a LOT of freebies on the internet. One place to start is Craft Crave:
        http://www.craftcrave.com/2012...dnesday-27-jun-2012/
Also, sign up for the newsletter at ScrapGirls. They give a daily freebie, plus the newsletter is VERY informative and inspirational. Also their products ROCK.

Start with some free products, then find a variety of Photoshop tutorials on the Internet and at YouTube - then see where it will take you. There are many newsletters you can sign up for as you go. Indeed, doing some digital work, then using these photos in conventional scrapbooking with other embellishments is what Hybrid is all about.
Also spend some time with the free Picasa program.

It's easier than Photoshop, and one of its features is making collages. this lets you print a 4x6 with 2 photos, cut them up or not .. a lot of options.
        Did this answer your question?
