Well, lets see... I just started an ABC book for a friends grandchild, that should keep me busy this week.

How are you doing your ABC Book? I've been wanting to do one for my grandkids and just can't get started. I need and idea on what it looks like. I've been working on an album for my son on his daughter for Christmas. But I think I'm going to be starting on a Wedding Album for the granddaughter of a good friend that passed away a few years ago. Going to be adding Tear Bears to it I think. I love those Tear Bears. And they are so fun to make.

Giya- I am altering a board book (the kind for toddlers) that I got at the Dollar Store. It has 12 pages so I will have to double up on some letters.

I have the book, papers and ideas- I plan to sketch out page maps for each page, I think that will make things go faster in the long run. I hope.

You'll have to share it with us when you do. I would very much like to see. I'll have to go and see if I can't find something like that at our Dollar Store. Thanks

I am still working on our vacation album! I have gotten through New Orleans and most of the cruise (about two more pages to go), then I'll only have about 1000 pictures of our Mexican tours (not really that many). In the meantime, I have quite a few events that have been piling up, just waiting to be scrapped.

How about everyone else?

School has just gotten out...yipeee... and I am trying to work on a scrapbook of our family vacation last year. I keep getting stalled because I don't have alot of stuff. I do have a cricut but haven't completely figured the best way to use it to make different cut-outs. So, just trying to learn new techniques and change things up a bit! Glad to see everyone is busy and doing well!

I'm just working on regular 12x12 pages-my months book, and holidays, etc. Up to March-I have to stop taking photos or I'll never catch up! Smile

Here's an abc album that is about 80% finished for my daughter-made with abc kits from a swap from awhile back. (6x6 pages). I'm gradually adding photos of her or of something of hers as it becomes relevant to the page (ie-I will add photos to these next time she makes a glue art project, or when we have a pb&j sandwich...)

sometimes, you all get me motivated and i want to try everything at once, different pages. But i'm a organizer, one thing at a time. I'm working on the themes of all of my 4 girls growing up, i try to have one ready for each birthday, then the themes of Anniv., weddings, I'm a theme gal. but there is so much else i want to try. Things are so busy here, my page a day or so, has been sitting for acouple weeks. I have some scrappin' boards to do for the Historical Society, then i've promised myself, A page for every two days, again. Is anyone like me, trying to learn all the new scrappin' stuff, learnin' new tech. stuff, how to try different things? I just don't have time in the day to do all this, however it's all i want to do........

Well, it's not me, but my daughter (jakaheal) is working on a photo album for my mother-in-law (her grandma). We have recently placed her in a nursing home. She is 90 and fell as she was getting on a mini bus and broke her shoulder. She had some dementia before the accident, but the trauma has worsened that condition. Anyway, Amber has taken pictures down off her walls to include and taken pictures of her bigger pieces of art that she has loved for years. She's putting them all in an album to give to her grandma when she visits her. I think she will really enjoy having it.

Pam I think that is great and that your daughter is getting involved in this. It is hard to see our loved one like this... I'll pray for her and your family.

Shimmering star.. no your not alone!! Yes I want to learn the new tech. and I'll buy the supplies (on sale of course) and than it'll be a while before I get a chance to try it... but I love having the stuff on hand for those middle of the scrap times...LOL.

Oh I got most of my pictures done for last year - just a few more! This will be the first time I've gotten a whole year done!! But I got our Vac/business trip pictures in.. 400 lol. I'm trying to separate them into lo pages. I'm doing some of my preliminary thinking!

Just not enough time in a day!!

Clarinda

I'm working on making Finding Nemo invitations for my son's first birthday party with ziplock bags, water, sand, and a little old wooden sign you know the kind you see in like fish tanks. But, it'll have the info of the party on it.

Also working on a wedding album for my friend since I'm the Matron of Honor in her wedding. and I'm working on a calendar made from cookie tin.
I am also working on some wood blocks for my son's room and altering some other wood forms that say "Cafe", "latte" and "bistro". I'm mounting them on bamboo trays. I don't think I'll finish until next year. I keep starting projects and never having time to finish them...

Love to scrap for baby Grayson!
