I have just finished a 2 page LO, it's not exactly my best work, but at least I finally got something accomplished! I'll post them just as soon as I remember how. Smile

I finished two pages tonight, and I'm mostly pleased with them, although I've already thought of one thing I want to change on the second page. It felt good to be scrapping again.

I have discovered the secret of forcing yourself to clean-up after each sb session. Let's see if this will post.

Meet Dobby our new baby. (See new thread for pic) We also have Zazzle, Dobby's sister. My grandkids bottle-fed them when their mother deserted them and my grandson named them. (Dobby (male) after a Harry Potter character and Zazzle (female) after a cat on the Big Bang Theory.) They are my incentives for cleaning up my craft mess when I'm done because they get into everything. They find all the shining things and ribbons I use in my scrapbooks to be irresistable.

We drove them back from Texas in June. They were wonderful travelers. In fact, last week I put them in their carrier, and they got all excited. "Oh, boy, a field trip." Actually, I took them in for their snip snip and declawing. I didn't want to declaw them, but they did major damage to mine and hubby's back and legs, and we both have to be careful about infection. I paid extra for a laser treatment to help their feet heal quickly. I'm glad that part of cat ownership is behind us.

They bring such joy to our lives. I'm glad we decided to do this. I'll try to post a pic of Zazzle if I can.

Well, that's my roll call entry. Looking forward to reading all of yours.

No, Clarinda was not seeing something that wasn't there. I didn't think my pics posted so I made a new thread and tried again. After that, I found my original downloads, so I deleted the one from here. Sorry for the confusion. And yes, Clarinda, pets are wonderful friends. My friends are standing outside my craftroom door right now wondering why they are being denied entree. You'd be amazed how much damage these two can do in a matter of seconds with all the ribbons, flowers and other fun stuff in here to play with.

We deep sea fishing, never again for me!! ruff water and big waves, we do not like each other, never got sick but wanted to a couple of time. Shopping..thats for me, always bringing back more than we took. Now I'm going head-first into my scrap room and get started on new los.

Glad you're back, Shirley. I've been thinking about you alot this last week. I finally buckled down and finished about 30 pages of the Disney album I'm doing for my TX kids. I went through the stash you sent me ffom the last swap and fell in love with everything again. I used almost all of the girly stuff for my princess pages and those featuring my granddaugter. They fit so well and gave the page just the soft girly look I wanted. So again thank you for all your pretty gifts. Glad I saved them for the perfect project.

Marsha, I'm glad you found a spot for all of your stash items. We need to do another SS swap.

Martha, we love Gulf Shores and Foley. That is the first vacation we take every year. Glad to hear you and hubby are better.

Am I the only one who reworks and reworks her pages. Can't seem to satisfy myself, so I never think it's good enough to post. I'll try taking pics and see how they look and maybe post. Notice I said "maybe." I'm so non-committal these days. OK. As soon as I get through the next 10 days of babysitting my grandsons, I'll post. You inspire me, Clarinda!

OK Ladies, is it just Me, Myself and I visiting here? It is REALLY slow here. What's happening in your world? My granddaughter and her friend found three labador (sp) puppys on the side of the road. They are around ten weeks old maybe. She got a family for them and kept one. He (Jacks) chews on everthing, gets up in the middle of the night whinning, wants outside and runs everywhere. Just like a child. She is in colledge now and she is not so sure she wants a dog. I tell her that is what babies do, puppy or child,

I am making word books for my neighbor,( her, hubby and two girls). It's slow going, can't seem to get it all together in my head, of course when it has been brain-dead for a while, even Me and Myself can't get it going, oh well it will when happen when it happens.

Thats all for me, who's next? Smile

Linn will tell you that I have a mental block about word books. I haven't finished the one she taught us to make, but I saved all her instructions, and if it's the last thing I do, I'm going to finish it.
        Good luck on yours, Shirley.

I've had an overwhelmingly sad couple of weeks. One of our best friends died, followed closely by another friend's death. Sandwiched between our friends death was the death of a cousin-in-law. The first death was unexpected, the other two followed terrible suffering. My comfort come from the fact that my friends are in Heaven. I sure miss them here, though. RIP Nick and Joann. My cousin's husband decided to make his life's journey on his own. I hope the Savior interceded on his behalf.

Viana would say, "Scrapbook your feelings." Soon I may do that.
