You know what... I've become brain dead. I'm sitting here with tons of pictures and stuff and don't know what to do. Some have just fallen together others were like pulling teeth... well I don't want to pull no more so if something doesn't fall I'm done for the night! lol

By the way my dh is almost totally done with the Bathroom... only a little more grouting and sealing. He had to go get more grout and brought back supper! He's worked all day and I've played! lol

Ok,

I'm back - fed and watered everybody and then I remembered that I needed to run to Barnes and Noble to pick up something so DD could finish her homework tomorrow. Going to look at a couple more of the challenges after I wrestle boomerang into bed. He's already promised that he's going to get up and sleep in our bed again tonight.

It has been a blast today, but honestly, I can barely keep my blurry eyes open. So, I think I am going to say goodnight and see you all tomorrow. Clarinda, you have done a wonderful job with this OLC. I'll bet you are exhausted, so I hope you head to bed soon also. Thanks, gf!

Sorry I went MIA... my dd came by today and said she had rented a carpet cleaner... well dh said bring it by when your done. So about 8:15 dh said do I need to come clean that carpet... I was on here and he had been working in bathroom all day. Well I started picking up and vacuuming... he came and asked again...I said I didn't want to do it ..I had done it the last 2 times ...but that I would go and finish grouting for him.!! Well I only have about a 2x2 foot area left to do but we ran out of grout... hoping it would go that far so we wouldn't have to buy a whole one! Any way we finished about the same time.!

But I'm now going to bed! See ya tomorrow afternoon.

Oh, TLC, Sorry I missed you. You are off and snoring by now. I can hear you on the west coast. LOL You have had a rough day. But I did want to let you know that my DH finally quite working on my house and came down and helped me with that punched card. He showed me what I was doing wrong so I finally got it scanned and off to you via e-mail as I still cannont for the likes of me get it to attach on this site. A few of weeks ago I attached on to here from my scanner and sent a card so I don't know why it isn't letting me do it now. I uploaded the card and put it on my desk top.
Then I came here and clicked on add attachment
and from there it's history. Can't go any further. But anyway, hope you have a good nights sleep and I'll try and get on again in the morning before I leave. Have a funeral to attend and a 60 mile drive so will be gone all day. What time does this end tomorrow? See ya in the morning. You'll be up two hours before me.Smile Sounds like you are really flying on that house of yours. That's great. We hope to have ours done in a few weeks. Must get it sheet rocked and all sealed before winter sets in or we are going to be mighty cold. We only have the livingroom and dining area to do so won't take long. Good night...

Shebear - sounds like your file resolution might be too large. Do you know how to make it smaller? Always scan at the lowest resolution possible for the internet. Don't know what kind of software you are using to know how to tell you to make it smaller. If that's what it tells you when you try to post the file, I'm sure someone can tell you how to make the resolution smaller or if you need to email it to someone to do for you, I'd be glad to help if you let me know, I'll give you my email if you need it.

shebear, I will direct you through the process that I use and I hope that will solve your problem. This is a long thing to type out (not so much when you do it), so bear with me.

Scan your picture to My Pictures. Check the details on the left. The size must say below 100 KB. If it is larger than that, double click on the picture. When it opens up, click the blue box just left of the ?. This box is for editing. When it opens, click image and select stretch/skew from the drop down. I usually begin with putting 50% in each horizontal and vertical % boxes. Click ok. It will shrink your image. Click file at the top left of the page and click save as. Your pic will go to the Save As page. Click box at top, on the drop down, click My Pictures. Select the folder that you want for your pic, then click save on the right side box. Pop up will be do you want to replace? Click yes. Close out with the red X at the top right. You will go back to My Pictures. Click on your picture again and check your size in details - if it's below 100 KB, you're good to post. If not, do the process again until it does. Go to DIY, click on reply at the bottom of where you want to place your post. Enter your message, then click add attachment - click on browse, double click on the picture you want. That should indiciate what you have selected in the file source box. Click Post Now box in the lower right and it should be all done. I hope this solves your problem.

Good luck!
Pam

Doesn't look like much missed this morning. I think Clarinda will be back on this afternoon and we'll get back to it then. In the meantime, I'm going to sign off, go paint some missed spots on the end of the house. I'll see you all this afternoon.

Hi all...just checking in real quick! I was going to post a challenge this morning and saw shebears note to me. I tried to get her card sent to me on line... but couldn't and it took up my time at home this morning...! Bear I think you are sending it to me in the wrong format it said .jpg it won't let me drag and drop into my picture program... I think that's the easiest way to move them for me. It wouldn't even let me download...I'm going to try later.

Thanks Pam for helping ... I'll forward the card to you if you pm me you e-mail addy. Maybe you can capture it and help tell what's going on. Maybe my dd will help me this afternoon.

Here's a challenge you can work on... I'm not at home so no example... Let's do a stitching challenge. By machine, by hand, stamps, or rubons, or ink pen.

Thanks CraftyG and Pam for all your help. I copied down all your information Pam but when I go to attach the card it pops up and says,"Internet Exploer has restricted this web page from running scripts." I even scanned my card at 72 DPI. I am on my way out of town now so will try and get back on here this evening. Thanks again for all your help.
Hope your back is feeling better Lynn. Talk to you later.

TLC: Just saw your note and yes, my computer sent me a note saying it wouldn't let my message through to you so don't know if you will be able to bring it up or not. Don't waste your time trying. I am going to call my internet service and see what is going on as I have other people I write to and some messages go through and then on others I will get this same note. Message cannot be delivered. And TLC that is what I just got back on the e-mail I sent you last night. In fact I sent you two so I think I will perhaps be getting another one of those messages some time this afternoon. It seems to take several hours to get a reply. It doesn't have anything to do with an attachment. I will get the same thing if it is just a little note I send someone. It doesn't happen all the time though. Just now and then. But thanks to all of you. See you on line again this evening.

OK ladies _ i posted my layout dilemna on #8.
I am getting a sandwich and going out in the river for a while. Summer is almost over, so need to take advantage of this beautiful day.
I think I have the stitching one left to do.
