Where are/did you go/going on Vacation?
We are not going until the 28th of July. We love Gulf Shores, AL. We have rented a beach house for a week and will share it with our DD and her family. My GD said she was not going if her boyfriend could not go. Boyfriend is not going per her mother's sayso. I told her that PawPaw would be upset if she did not make this trip as it may be our last trip with just the six of us going. She's going. We are going snorkeling, wave-riding, go-cart driving and anything else we can find to do. We have a canape we will use on the beach so we will have some shade. It's the waiting that seems so long until we leave.

We just got back from Florida. My Niece (who's like my daughter) and her family went with us. We rented my cousins vacation house in Kissimee, it was great, we had our own private pool the kids loved it. We went to Sea World and Disney's Magic Kingdom. Everyone went to the beach, but I stayed at the house with my 1 yr old nephew, he had an abscess and couldn't get wet, I didn't mind at all, it was HOT in the 90's Cool . I hope to get some LO's done soon, I'll post them when they are done.

It was beautiful and every one had a wonderful time.Want to go to the mountians this fall. I have family that lives in Morristown Tn.[ near Gatlinburg] My DB and SIL work at Dollywood.

I went to my sisters in AR and used her pool. I also took two of my grand children with me. Had tons of fun as I get to see her kids and her grands also. We are close and I want to be close to her grand kids too.

I sure wish I could have a vacation. We haven't been able to go anywhere in five years ... we have an RV that's just sitting in storage ... but we can't leave mom alone for more than a couple of hours.
. One day, God willing, we'll take one loooong vacation and catch up on relaxation.
Enjoy summer everyone.

Well, have to content myself with rotating beach vistas as my desktop computer's wallpaper. Wish I could live by the beach and it will be vacation while working. Well, reading your beach escapades is the next beach thing for me now. Smile
Really, being at the beach is also a chance to gather beach memorabilia, a dried slice of an unknown hard fruit, fascinating worn out colored glass pieces and aged pieces of thin wood. Don't forget to pair them with new accents too and you're good to go scrapping!
