Okay who's up for a challenge...???

This one is easy. Hopefully we'll see some lo's of your day but I'm so swamped for time and don't do mine right away after a holiday I thought this might be fun.

I know you all take pictures of your fun day.. well lets post some pictures by next week of what you and yours did for the day (or weekend!)

This may motivate me to get mine scrapped! lol

Oh that is a great idea Clarinda! But I can't join in. I will be home all alone on the 4th. Brandon is working all day. And fam is 900 miles away, so it looks like another holiday spent by myself! But I can't wait to see what yall come up with!!!

Hey!! How about if I make a patriotic card that day? That way I can atleast contribute something! LOL. Let me know!

Amyee, take advantage of being alone and take pictures of yourself scrapping and things you do today - then do a special patriotic "My Alone Time for Reflection", or something like that.

My family are mostly going to be here for a pool party, but because the doctor is trying to change my medications, I've spent a week crying for no reason (well except for the pain), so don't think they would all want to be with me. Maybe some of them will take photos and I can come up with something.

And, here I was, feeling sorry for myself. Our daughter and her family are camping on the west side of the state and our son and his family are camping on the north side of the state and we are kind of in the middle, home and not doing anything special for this day. My husband has already started working on the outside of the house and I'm trying to get some enthusiasm and energy to head out to join him in scraping the old paint off. So not fun! But, since I had already purchased some patriotic scrapping paper, etc., I think I will take pictures of him and he of me as we're working and that's what I'll use for layout.

Aymee, don't let being alone get you down. At least you know your husband will be coming home to you after work. And, in the meantime, you can make some fun by yourself. I know you'll have a great day!

Lynn, don't let your troubles keep you from your family today. Go be with them, they love you no matter what and it will probably make you feel a little bit better just seeing them having fun and laughing. Plus, think of all the great pics you can get. There's always tomorrow to go back to the crying, right? Be happy today.

This is not me and I can't seem to stop it, which is so frustrating!

OK, I've made strawberry shortcake and potato salad and got the kitchen all cleaned up, so someone else can do the hamburgers and hotdogs (I hope - lol)

Hi everyone! Sorry so late getting back... had family here. So I did all the cooking! Oh well I haven't cooked in a while so I enjoyed it!

Aymee I kinda understand...sorry you were by yourself! I agree I hoped you set your timer and got a picture of you scrappin!

Lynn ... I went through a stage like that... believe me when I say "This too will Pass!" I'll keep you in my prayers! Hope your day was a good one!

Pam... I know you had a busy day ..but you had good help I know!! I hope you got some great pictures the before and after pictures will be great!

We did get my bathroom floor tiled this week... after being on break since Thanksgiving.! I laid every tile my dh cut them... his back went out this spring when we got motivated to get started again!! I offered to do it then... now he's almost back to normal and I still had to do it!! But that's ok .. I'm telling everyone who looks at it..LOL.

Hopefully we get some more laid this afternoon!

I got some pictures taken... now to get them scrapped.

I went to my first crop locally last Thursday ...I found out some ladies here were getting together. It was ok.. not many there because of the holidays so I can't wait to go again... I got 3 lo mostly done. I need to do Titles and some embellishments.

Thanks for the prayers Clarinda - Seems I've stopped crying at every little thing - thank goodness. The current meds aren't helping with the pain much though, so I've been kind of out of for a few days. Trying to work on my baby shower invitations today. Got to get them done!
