Our Mia, a 4 y.o. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (tri-color)like to put her belly up at every opportunity. As I was rubbing her belly on our bed, I pushed her ears up above her head, and we noticed after taking the picture that she had this "conehead" look, like a Marge Simpson hairdo ... Just too funny! And it's all part of our "daily life"! Smile! Vianna ![]()

Mama Mia, or is it Lala Mia! What an unforgettable take. You could add another tagline: Maybe in SIM Social or something. Maybe you could make a page in Facebook for her/him. And an Aarrff aarrff as a tweet would be sweet too. You could also add a little more decors at the top right if you still have time. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Yes, Arlandgab , you can post this to Facebook. I appreciate your asking permission. Mia, in fact, has a photo album on Facebook - and quite the following among my family, friends, acquaintances and a few fun souls on various Boards and blogs I read. Sometimes I just post the plain photo, other time I may post a "scrapped" one - but there is no rhyme or reason. I do this as time allows. My life as caregiver to my 96 y.o. mother is a bit complicated, as you might imagine. This very same photo is also in her Facebook album. Here's the link to it (but please continue to let me know when you tag or want to post other photos; I plan to watermark all the photos in the future - in cyberspace there are more bad people than good ones it seems ... http://tinyurl.com/7ncm98g One day, I might also consider "letting Mia have a Twitter account. Hmmmmm! Remains to be seen ♥ I dont think I have the time to help her with posting right now ... As for "adding" to this photo ... I have no doubt that, from an esthetic scrapbooking point of view, most of my "stuff" could use help, but I'm not very concerned with that aspect. My Daily Life "album" is something I do only for myself, being something like an illustrated diary/journal thing that will one day be burned. And, I dont always do it daily, and I dont always have a photo to go with the writing. Perhaps you can call it "quasi-scrapbooking" (part diary, part journal, part Project Life, part digital, part conventional and part art journaling ... ) but whatever you might call it, it is for me a little (cooling) "fun-on-a-stick" during days that mostly are difficult to sail through. What is important to me right now is that I document my life , that I write/journal daily about what's going on with me & my world , and that I take photos as much as possible. Then, if I have the luxory, I enjoy a little time expressing myself creatively throughout the process. I've been a member here since '04 - and not many of the original members are around anymore. I still try to inspire people who have been reading my posts for the past 8 years to simply DOCUMENT life, in any way they can -- with photos, with journaling, and with a little embelisment - but without judgement or letting it all become an expensive and time consuming chore. I think too many people try to be like the dream-teams of various publications and manufacturers that have at their disposal unlimited product AND obviously a lot of time too, and can liberally show-off elaborate creations on the various blogs. Real life for the majority of scrapbookers is very different from all that. I dont want anyone to get discouraged because they are not "like the Jones's". What all that should be is inspiration. I want people to use their OWN style, based on their own time and their available finances & talents. And I help with whatever I can when I am asked. Because I have kept diaries/journals for over 40 years I know the practice has merit on many levels and want to encourage everyone to find time for it. (sorry for the lengthy post; obviously a subject close to my heart) Greetings from Florida, Vianna

We have a Manchester Terrier mix with the same name who is Momma to several of our other dogs. Do you pronounce her name my-a or mee-a? Ours is my-a. Just curious. when I was a kid there was a full sized Doberman near school named Mia (mee-a). She was the sweetest dog, myself and a friend used to each share half our sandwich with her on the way to school every morning...shhh don't tell anybody! I just love dogs Janet Rubberstamping makes the world more colorful!!
