Gonna bump this post up for us!

I need to start looking through my supplies. If we do not have another person sign up, I think I may sign myself up twice too so we have an even number. And that way I could make an album with extra's to give away for a gift, maybe this Christmas. Smile

I got my supplies yesterday!!! I changed my mind 3 different times, but finally narrowed it down to the one double sided paper. I am so excited. Iam just in need of a few embellies to match the back and Iam ready to go.

Family Girl I too live some distant from a scrapbooking store except a wallmart and they only sell paper in books, so I'm useing what I have. I love to try new recipies and collect cookbooks. I am excited about this swap. I am still learning but this really helps to see what everyone is doing. Martha

If you would like, you may put them in individual baggies. Or just put them all in one large, gallon sized ziploc bag. I have received one package and she put all of hers into one large ziploc bag. Whatever is easiest for you works fine. Smile

Aymee, I'm sending you a PM with my email address. At least I hope I can. I'm having computer problems which is sometimes keeping me from accessing the threads. It is miserably hot here, and my craft room is the hottest room in the house, thus making my computer heat up. Did I mention that a raccoon tore up the air conditioner ducts under our home, and we are losing about 60 percent of our cool air? So, it's been 85 degrees in the house during this heat wave. I just bought a new computer, but won't set it up until new air ducts are installed. (Hopefully today, please, please, please.) Anyway, I am mailing my recipe cards today, Priority Mail, so you should hopefully get them by Friday. If you need to contact me, email me please, as I might not be able to see the thread.

Oh my! Marsha! You poor dear! I am so sorry to hear about your air ducts! I know how hot it can get! It's burning up here too. I hope you can get it fixed and get everything back in order for ya. I'll keep an eye out for yours in the mail. Smile

Marsha...Have I ever told you that I LOVE raccoons! lol they are very smart and it was only looking for a cool place to get! lol We used to have them growing up and they were great! We had one so tame we would let it out in the morning it go in the tree by the kitchen and come back to the door to get in! Now having said that I'll say I'm so sorry you have had all this trouble they are pest also... but look at it as a blessing in disguise you may have been loosing heat also that's how it found the hole... so definitely your heat bill will be better also...do you know any good insurance agents? lol

        Stay cool!

Thanks for your encouraging words Aymee and Clarinda. The repair people were here today and will finish up tomorrow morning. The house is comfortable for the first time this summer. Clarinda, you will be happy to know that our raccoon was too smart to get caught. They set a trap using cat food as bait. (I'm told they love cat food.) But after four days and two traps, the critter remains free and elusive. I guess I'll have to send Bill under our home to try to catch him. WinkNot really funny because he fell at work and has a herniated disc. I'm taking him for an MRI tomorrow. When it rains it pours, as the saying goes. At least I was able to get on the board tonight.

And my recipe cards are in the mail!!!

Marsh so glad you got the AC fixed... tell Bill I'll be praying for him. T has some also so I know how painful they can be.

Well I was and have been so tired in the evenings to get in my scrap room (besides it's a mess and makes me fell bad! lol) so I just stayed home this morning till I finished the 2nd recipe! I guess you can say I was acting like the boss! lol I can be the boss of me no one else will listen! lol

Ladies I just want to say I gave one set of recipe cards to my son and future DIL and one set to my other DIL and they all loved them. My DIL even has invited me over to try some of them. Just wanted to share that with you.
