Shaukc, Did you get the blender pencil. It doesn't come with the set of Prisma colored pencils I don't think. It is really nice for when you use two different shades of colors and want to blend them together. I also layer my colors at times. For example: When coloring in the leaves and stems of a flower... I put a base coat of celadon green and then shade with dark green. Then use the blender pencil. If you are doing a lilly, the base coat is white, Add a little powder blue highlights and then a little sand highlights with the side of the pencil to give it some debth. In the center of the lilly use yellowed orange and detail a little bit around it with a cool grey 70%. Have fun.

I love learning new tips and products like these! Thanks al for the help.I am not sold yet on my watercolro pencils,,maybe Im not using enough colors or maybe too much water,,when you use the watercolor pencils,,do you use a lightly wet brush on them afterward,,or very wet. Also Amyee,,thers like a little shadow around the figures,,did you do that with watercolors also?I like how it gives the stamp some depth to it.

Oh, after reading the other comments I believe I am on a different page. I didn't know prisma made the water colors. When I was talking about the prisma colors and blender pencil I wasn't talking water. I was referring to regular dry pencils and how I blended the colors together. Sorry if I confused any of you.

Crafty G...That's ok... I wasn't sure if they made water colors or not. Did you find your prisma colors? They are really fun to work with. Wish I knew how to post a picture of the cards I've been making with them. I'd show you some examples. Do they tell you anywhere on here how to post?

I'm sure they do, but not sure where. Can you scan your picture or do you have to take a picture of it. Either way, you have to make sure the resolution on your picture is below 100 kb and then you go to the Add Attachment button below and find the file on your computer and select it. If the resolution is OK, it will post it right to your post. Does that make sense? If your resolution is too high let me know if you don't know how to lower it or you could send it to me and I can do it for you. No, I apparently had every kind of color pencils but prism. I have some that are Creatacolor Fine Art Pastels, Some Loew-Cornell, and some regular old crayola. I'm coloring some baby bunnies for shower invitations right now and trying to decide which ones I like the best. I also found a Marvy 1122 LePlume II blender pen that I had never used and I like using it with the color pencils.

Crafty G...I got the picture scanned but my husband could not get it to come up on this reply post. I couldn't even figure out the private message thing so if you can send me an e-mail or p.m. I think I get it sent to you by e-mail. Thanks... B
