        removing glue from tiles Sign In/Join

        I put down one those peel and stick floors in the Bathroom and it looks terrible how do I remove the tiles from the bathroom so I may use the original flooring? Very strong glue

        Heat it up and get a flat scraper blade. A hair dryer should be enough to release the glue. A final glue layer may need to be removed with solvent.

        I agree, a heat gun and scraper or putty knife is the best method to remove the vinyl tiles. Be careful when using solvents though. Solvents may be flammable and should only be used with proper care. Just turning on a light switch can cause a fire or an explosion.
