Recently we installed a laminate wood floor in a large 15'x50' room. The original flooring is glossy white tile that was laid directly onto the concrete foundation which left the floor uneven with several dips and high spots. We had decided to place the underlayment and laminate flooring on top of the tile and tried to layer more underlayment in the dips to compensate for the low spots. Now that the floor is in, there are still several low spots under the new flooring. When we step on some of these low spots you can feel the seams of the flooring panels begin to seperate.

Is there a way to fill in the dips under the flooring without removing the entire new floor and leveling the entire floor? I know this is a far fetched idea but we're hoping someone knows a fix it solution.

Realistically, no - to do this correctly you will need to remove the floating floor, use a leveling compound to level the subfloor and then reinstall the flooring.

If the low spots are very small areas then you could possibly drill a small hole in the joint between two planks and inject some epoxy under the floor. I have done this with a glue-down floor that was installed over low spots that worked fine. The thing is, this can only work for a very small patch - otherwise you will have to make many holes. Even at that, it may not be possible to fill the holes you do need to make - depending on what type flooring you have.

No magic wand for this one.
