The wife has asked me if polyurethane is a VOC. I have been around it all my life but now that I think about it, it has been on furniture or outdoor gear. Now that we are having our floors redone, I should consider what VOCs are off-limits or stuff I should strongly consider not using.
Any feedback is appreciated.

Notice 3rd paragraph, 1st sentence.
California got more stringent in their requirements on VOC emissions than other states. In other words, our products don't stink as bad as others. But there is an obvious lack of quality -- enough so that for the right need I will drive to another state to make my purchase, and thus please my customer with a longer lasting product (too bad for government rules). This message has been edited.
