My wife and I bought our first house a year and a half ago. Some of our progress will start being posted here. Here is a before and after of our stair case. Also the process in between!

The stairs are finished with paper mache along with two coats of stain and two coats of polyurethane.

If I'm correct, all the links exxcept the first one are to the same photo, which I got by eliminating some of the code. Try this:

        http://i294.photobucket.com/al...00000998F34082FA.jpg

I removed the after the URL. I tried to copy the photo directly but couldn't.

I was unable to get anything from the first URL though, except a "photo moved" type of notice.

        Here's another option to try:

In the toolbar with buttons for "Go, New, Find, etc.), click on New, then Photo Album. After you create a name for your album, you'll be directed to upload photos directly from your hard drive.

Post back if none of these options work and I'll see if I can Simply_Me's instructions in other posts; they're very detailed and helpful.

On your staircase...That is one beautiful staircase! Is your home in Mission style?

P.S. Just checked the edited link and it works. Just maximize the link once you get it.
