I have drum sanded my pine flooring , cleaned it & am ready to apply topcoat.
I left it looking rustic and just want a clear finish. Looking for product that will dry fast and not require sanding between coats. Any suggestions?
Water-based poly is completely clear and will not darken the floor like most oil-based products. Not as durable as oil-based and you will still have to do some sanding between coats. Don't know of anything that allows you to skip the sanding between coats.
you might try to get "bowling alley varnish " from a store that only deals in paint. I believe it has aluminum oxide in it to resist abrasion, and goes on thicker
