|
Can you, or should you? Pro's It's free. Cons Seams every 4'. Not T X G. There's going to be exposted nails everywhere. Unless you plane, joint and trim the ends there's going to be gaps and uneven flooring everywhere. PS, have you ever tryed to remove the nails just to get the pallet apart? joecaption

Pallet wood is good for pallets. That's about it. There is a current trend to make stuff out of reclaimed wood from pallets. Walls, furniture etc. I've seen a lot of it and I've also seen lots of people think that it's totally wonderful. For them, it works. Until the day that it becomes less popular and everyone realizes that it's garbage. This message has been edited. Last edited by: Jaybee, Jaybee

pallets are made of trash wood, I had a former coworker who cleared out the back 20 by making pallets. any freaking combination of green sapwood and splintery cracked dry old deadfall goes into those things. might as well weave rugs from rusty barbed wire. sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
