Hi - I'm prepping my concrete subfloor for engineered glue down. When I pulled the carpet, I found a crack down the center wall to wall about 4 feet from the furthest wall. I layed a level from one side of the crack to the furthest wall and there's about an inch gap at the furthest point.

Question is how do I fix this? Do i just pour auto leveling cement along the furthest wall until there is not gap when comparing to the other side of the crack?

There's some really bad going on under that floor for it to have dropped that far, most often it's impropper compacting or wrong material used under the slab.
I would get it mud tacked back to level before doing any thing.
I also would never attempt to use a glued down flooring on that floor.
There's no reason not to install a vaper barrier (cork would be best) then install the engineed floor as a floating floor. You just glue all the seams as it being installed. It's done all the time and if you go on the companys web site there should be directions on what to use and how to do it.

If that floor moves at all and the floors glued down it's going to distroy the floor.
