Posting a picture would sure help. Most often you have to cut out along the walls with a Toe Kick Saw, cut the floor between the joist with a ciruler saw set to the thickness of the flooring and just start prying out the floor boards. If there is no subflooring and just boards nailed to the floor joist one of these tools works great. http://www.thegutster.com/gutster40.html Northern Tools has them.
If it's a really old house I'd be checking those old joist for insect damage, moisture or fungus damage and sagging. Simply using a piece of brick string pulled tight can be used to check for high and low spots that should be addressed before the new sub flooring goes in. If you down to the joist concider using Advantec 3/4" T & G subflooring that's gets installed on constrution adhesive on top of the floor joist and nailed or screwed down with ceramic coated decking screws.

I think you can get the best solution for replacing the floor through online services. Though the expertise advices is more helpful way to making your search successful. However adding the lighting fixture can improve the more productivity of your home. __________________________ chandelier installationThis message has been edited. Last edited by: NelsonJohn,

I knew it! I just knew it! Hanging a chandelier will fix unlevel floors! I'm going out to my truck right this minute and get rid of all those useless tools that I carry. Then, I'll have room to stock up on a few different chandeliers.......I'll be ready and able to fix anything.
You got a big 'ol high spot in the middle of your living room? No problem, I've got a chandelier.
Roof leak causing a large, moldy section of your ceiling to fall right onto your bed? Got you covered - I've got chandeliers.
Time to turn that back deck into a screen porch? Now, this is a bigger project and will probably take TWO chandeliers to make it work.
My life will be so much more simple and profitable now!
