Flooring to compliment brick fireplace
The brick back to the living room fireplace is in the middle of one of the kitchen walls.
I need flooring ideas to use in the kitchen that will compliment the brick & not make the room look too busy or like a continuation of the brick design

Because of the obvious brick pattern, I would take a look at some commercial rated sheet flooring in a non grid pattern.

You will need to shop at a real flooring store, not a box store or flooring dept in another store for this stuff. Seems the box stores only carry less expensive, gridded patterns that are patterns with squares or look like tiles, so they can be more easily cut and installed by DIYers. You can find a blended floor pattern that is more like a sponged or random overall pattern in the commercial flooring. It is also REALLY good at hiding dust, dog prints, and just random spots. It usually has to be ordered, but is often no more expensive than a really good quality sheet flooring.
