Our house was built about 5 years ago and the original owners never had an actual lawn put in. Most of our yard is clover which is fine but there are several uneven spots. We have a little over 3 acres and my husband feels like he is on a wooden roller coaster every time he cuts the grass! What is the best way to level the yard and make it smoother? We are open to all suggestions, but would rather not rip up the entire yard and start over since it is large. Thanks!

if you don't want to till and level, then get a half truck of good topsoil dumped in the driveway, and a 2-wheel wheelbarrow. shovel, grunt, and fill in the low spots.

be sure to maintain overall grade while doing this, or you could end up with all the rain water running into the house. a long straight 2x4 would serve.

overseed with grass, rake it lightly in, and sprinkle every morning and night until the blades are as wide as the rest of the lawn, then cut.

sig: if this is a new economy, how come they still want my old-fashioned money?
